How private offers work
During the 48-hour viewing, choose Make a Private Offer and enter your own amount in pounds sterling.
Offers are sealed. No one sees other offers, how many there are, or the reserve.
Each offer counts only after you verify it by emailing us its code from the address you used.
After the viewing closes, the highest eligible offer that meets the reserve is checked and confirmed,
and we contact that collector by email. Results are not published.
We agree delivery with the successful collector and send a private link to pay securely through
Stripe. The payment page shows the artwork price, delivery and total before you pay.
International collectors and shipping
International offers welcome. Worldwide shipping available to supported destinations.
United Kingdom: insured delivery, or collection in London by arrangement.
International: supported destinations are currently
the United Kingdom and the United States. For other
countries, we confirm whether we can ship before your offer can become binding.
Delivery is quoted separately. Your offer is for the painting only. We agree a delivery
quotation with you before asking for payment; no delivery charge is added without your agreement.
Currency: the painting is priced and paid in pounds sterling (GBP). Your card provider
may convert the amount and charge its own fees.
Customs: import duties, taxes and customs charges in your country are not included and
are payable by you. Some destinations restrict imports of artworks; we check before quoting.
